Who we are
OM Infotech Inc. ("we", "us") is a company incorporated in Canada operating the website at ominfotech.ca. For any question about this policy or about personal information we hold, contact us at info@ominfotech.ca.
What information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number if provided, the service you selected, and the content of your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.
- Third-party resources. This site loads fonts and icon files from Google Fonts and Cloudflare's CDN. Requesting those files discloses your IP address to those providers.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without asking.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a business relationship follows, to deliver the services discussed. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on the legitimate purpose of responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only to the extent needed:
- Form processing. Contact form submissions are processed by our form provider, which forwards them to us by email.
- Website hosting. Our hosting provider processes server logs.
- Email. Our email provider stores the correspondence.
Some of these providers may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for business record purposes. Where a contract follows, records are retained as required by applicable Canadian tax and corporate law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, withdraw consent to further use, and ask us to delete it. Write to info@ominfotech.ca and we will respond within the timeframe required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable safeguards to information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
